Futsal Day at Balok.

After watching the Champions League final in the early morning, we had our Futsal game in the morning as usual. A sad day for Apek I guess...he's an avid Man U fan...still he's wearing his famous Giggs jersey...

The venue has been changed again to accomodate our friends from Balok area. The venue change did not deter our friends from Indera Mahkota to come. Special thanks to them.

Eventhough everyone complained of lack of sleep, but the turn up rate is good.
Everyone had a good time.
Game started at 9.15 am and finished at 10.45 am.

Have a look at the pics snapped...our friends in action...

UEFA Champions League - Barcelona Champions Of Europe.

Ok...ok...this might be a bit off the usual things to post. But this final is a big big thing in our shift recently. So I had to post this up...and this has nothing to do with me being a Liverpool FC fan...hehe yeah right...

After weeks of discussion and a bit of argument about who will be the champions of Europe, the day has finally come. Most of us stayed up that night to watch the final. A few of us goes out with friends to watch the game at cafes.

And the result is Barcelona won 2-0 with Eto'o and Messi scoring on either side of each half.

All I want to say is that Man U could have won the game if they took their chance well. That said, the Man U fans will be disappointed but it's a good, balanced game.

Try again next season Man U. For the time being me and other club fans will be rejoice the moment...until next season...bye bye...

On our second day, we had Kesuka Annual General Meeting. A few of us took the chance to attend. Most of them won lucky draw prizes. Rosmaini won a grill, Mafa won a water heater...some of us won t shirts...

Have a look at the pics taken during those two days. The last one shows Mafa with his lucky draw prize...Midi acting as the presenter...

Futsal Day at Indera Mahkota.

It's that day and time again. It's Futsal time.
This time the venue is at Indera Mahkota. The change venue is to make it easier for our friends living in Indera Mahkota to come for the game.

Due to some misunderstanding with the venue management personnel, the lights are not turned on yet when we arrived. But we decided to play anyhow..

When the lights are finally turned on, the game goes on well.

Would like to welcome Midi and Burhani for coming this week and special thanks to Mat Ros for preparing the drinks.

It feels good sweating and having a fun time with friends. Have a look at the pics of our friends in action.

Day Shift - Saturday 16 May 2009.

It's our second Day shift. As usual, we start our day with safety and process briefings. Then we went our way doing what is necessary.

~Din the Otai Rocker~

During the day, we had a visit from RJ. Some positive and improvement comments from him.

What caught my attention is this old Korean saying quoted by RJ
"Bald men never a beggar"
It means that bald men is always thinking and they will be successful.
Wow...that's good news for Midi I guess...you know why hehe...

In the evening, we had our monthly Fire Fighting exercise. It's part of refresher program for ERT members.
Mohan decided to go with the basics first - Hose Handling.

~Thaufik as leader giving his briefing~

Two vids that I took of the exercise. One using our CCTV..

All in all, everything is smooth...
