Day Shift - 20 & 21 July 2009.
On our two day shifts, we got a surprise on the first day...
We received two big hampers from our Ops Leader. One is for our involvement in the recent shutdown activities and the other one is for our involvement in the recent startup activities. It's some sort of recognition from the management that we have done our work safely and efficiently.
WELL DONE SHIFT A....
We also welcomed a newcomer to our shift. Rosnan is a trainee from INSTEP on his OJT. He is assigned to our shift and Thaufik will be his mentor.
It's been a quiet two day shifts. Not much to share...but a safe one it is...

Night Shift - 15 & 16 July 2009 (Fruit Fest At CR & Mafa Leaving)
Our last two night shifts went as usual for us.
One thing for sure, everyone is feeling tired and some complained of body pain due to yesterday's UKJK session. Once a year event they say.
Even from the start the mood is not very good...
On the first night, Din brought fruits to work. The fruits are courtesy of Wan.
We had our own Fruit Fest that night. We had durian, rambutan, duku and manggis. Thanks a bunch Wan. Terima kasih daun keladi...
Mohan announced last week that Shift B asked for one of out team member to go to join them. Well you guys know how the response is, right...
However it is decided that Mafa will the one joining them since he is going to Saudi anyway...
We had our 'last' breakfast together after finished work.
Thanks Mafa for being such a good sport all this while...

Ujian Kecergasan Jasmani Kebangsaan (UKJK) - 14 July 2009.
It's that day of the year again. Shift A together with Shift C are having their UKJK (Ujian Kecergasan Jasmani Kebangsaan) again.
UKJK is compulsory for all ERT members. So, we had to take the test.
Most of us attended the test to know just how far we can go.
The tests are 2.4 km run, sit ups, sprinting, push ups, point jump and stretching.
The tests are divided into group age.
On Tuesday morning, we all gathered at the Darul Makmur Stadium. Everyone is in cheery mood.
At 8.30 am, the 2.4 km run event started. We are divided into two groups.
It's tiring but most of us finished the run in the required time...
Then comes the stretching part...

The tests are tough but what's important is that we all had fun doing it.
Ok, now what we need is a good clinic for our MC...

Night Shift - 6 & 7 July 2009.
It's mid week night shift for us.
Things are okay. Nt much to tell since it's mostly routine work.
The difference is that Thaufik aka Abang Long brought a big mango for us all on the first day. It's sweet and very nice to eat.

On the second night, we had rambutan and manggis, courtesy of Wan Ghani.
